About me

Self taught in the 80’s and have confidence in all i take on. I do all my own work so i know its done right! My work is outstanding and Over the years have created some award winning work in schools and public places such as developing walmley woods on fox hollies road and building play ships and gazebo outdoor classrooms in most birmingham and tamworth primary schools.

The work im most passionate about is sleeper retaining walls (to which i have my own method of taking them to the next level by plaining, sanding and staining them so they look like jenga blocks rather than just lumps of splintery wood (see pictures) i also like building pergolas and timber structures, work sheds and gates etc as well as decking and astro turf. I love a challenge and taking on difficult tasks. If somebody has an awkward job i can always find solutions!

As a seperate business i have ran walmley fencing for 18 years specialising in closeboard fencing (see photos) which will outlast paneled fencing and even most slotted type concrete these days due to 4” tanalised treated posts being so good! We also make garden gates to measure at your property.
